Who we are
Brightway Freightline moves freight for manufacturers, distributors, retailers and brokers from our base in Brampton, in the heart of the Greater Toronto Area.
We run dry van, refrigerated and flatbed equipment on the Ontario–Quebec corridor and across the border into the United States. Every load is handled by a dispatcher who knows the lane, the receiver and the freight, and who stays with it from booking to proof of delivery.
We are deliberately not the biggest carrier you will call. We would rather run fewer loads well than more loads badly, and that shows in how we communicate: early, plainly and before you have to ask.
The name on the trailer is a promise. A bright way forward for your freight: on time, intact and accounted for.

Say it early
If something changes, you hear it from us first, with a revised ETA and what we are doing about it. No silence, no surprises at the dock.
Handle it like it is ours
Drivers inspect, count and secure freight at pickup and note exceptions on the bill of lading. Damage prevention starts before the doors close.
Price it honestly
Rate confirmations show the line haul, fuel and any accessorials up front. The invoice matches what you agreed to.
Run it safely
Maintained equipment, compliant hours of service and drivers who are never pushed to beat a clock at the cost of a safe trip.
Safety and compliance
Shippers and brokers need to know who is hauling their freight. We make that easy to check.
- Operating authority for Ontario, inter-provincial and U.S. freight
- Cargo and liability insurance; certificates sent on request
- Electronic logging devices on every tractor
- Scheduled preventive maintenance and pre-trip inspections
- ACI and ACE eManifest filing for cross-border loads
Working with brokers
We work with freight brokers and 3PLs as well as direct shippers. Send your carrier setup packet and we will return the signed agreement, insurance certificate and banking details promptly.
Once set up, you get the same dispatch team, the same check calls and the same POD turnaround as our direct customers.
